About Us
The San Francisco Stars Netball Club, formed in August 2000 by a group of expats with a shared love of netball, was the first netball club in Northern California. Netball is a non-contact team sport typically referred to as the "ladies version" of basketball, though don't be fooled - netball is a fast paced and skillful game!
Today, our club is made up of a group expats from England, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa and beyond. We are also proud to have a growing number of Americans in our club!
We train and play social games on a weekly basis at our home court on Treasure Island on Saturday mornings at 9:30am. We also host and compete in regional and national tournaments throughout the year.
